the following three pics were all taken early spring, but for some reason i've had yet to post them. unlike most of my photos, all of these actually have a nice story behind them.
the first is of two girls in my class, who wanted me to take a photo of them. posing and smiling, i refused to take the picture. later, i snapped this without them knowing - it was my first day with the polaroid ee100.
the second is a picture of ida karoline, randomly taken as i was eager to load some black-white polaroids. ironically, the black-white film didnt work, and the only picture im truly happy with, taken that day, is this.
the last one is taken at a grave-yard in Paris, near our hotel. im addicted to privacy, and went there daily during our stay - you know how family vacations get-. a few hours before our flight went, i rushed to a certain area of the grave-yard (it was huge!) to take this and smoke a last cig. i think it was the last photo taken with polaroid 600 film, before getting the ee100

thats a tough one, but i really like the polaroid posted a few days ago, of two girls (well actually its one, copied) standing on an 'Island' with lots of flowers / trees in the background.

film is superior quality-wise, it lets me experiment more, black&white film looks 1000 times better than digital b&w and you have to be alot more selective about what you want to picture. and i just love the look of it.

probably the green one. my brother taught me never to drink or eat anything blue.

when i started, i got really good grades and wanted to show people that i could do something rebellious + i thought it looked really cool. to be honest, i still think it looks cool, but the main reason is that it gives me a break. i think way too much (im usually awake around two hours after i go to bed, just thinking) but the five minutes a cig takes, my mind goes blank. i really need those five minutes.

Right now, i use Pentax KX (an SLR) and Yashica T4 (point&shoot) for 35mm. I use an polaroid 600se for peel-a-part polaroids, and an sx-70 for tz artistic (which is an 'artsy' 600 type film). the past year, i've also used polaroid land 250, yashica T3, pentax spotmatic II and bronica sq-b.
whats your wear-every-day garment right now?
i wear a cardigan or a shirt (usually both) all the time. im constantly cold, so i need something with buttons (i dunno if that makes any sense, but layers help me stay warm)

good question. the feeling you get when you open a -great- polaroid is amazing. kissing is pretty rad too.

overexposing polaroids give a bit of a dreamy effect, other than that, im not sure. film in general might have that effect. try focusing a bit 'softer' tho, not so sharp

spent the whole thursday in middelalderparken, ditching oslo fashion week for øyafestivalen.
i was lucky enough to take a polaroid of Florence in Florence & The Machine (sweetest girl), the smug-interview is here
waited a good 25-30 minutes for Fever Ray, the cold and lack of wine incouraged our creativety, fifteen minutes later we probably had enough material to publish a collection of poems. suprisingly much that rhymes with Ray!!!
the concert was absolutely amazing, even beat last years Sonic Youth gig. everytime the ipod shuffles to 'keep the streets empty for me', my eyes are -this- close to watering up
just thought id let you know that ive decided to sell land 250, the camera that took the pola above, as well as most of my older polas. as i have another camera shooting same format, it feels a bit unneccesary. will be put on ehh sale eventually, but mail me now if youre interested. comes with self timer, cold-clip, flash, manual, briefcase ++. film is cheap (10$ - 10 images) and easy to get (still produced by fuji).
looking for around 500 nok / 100$.

back from stockholm last night (hence lack of updates, sorry about that)
pleasantly surprised, finding the aforementioned tz artistic film in the mail box. ridicilously overpriced, but the colours makes it worth the extra cash;
obviously i need money for a few more packs + the perfect boots are on ebay, so im selling a few more garments on ehh sale (a really great j lindeberg mohair sweater (logo free, ofc) + a brand new pair of cheap mondays)

while were on the subject, it looks like my øya-outfits will consists of plaid shirts and skinny jeans

0335 am, friday morning: leaves house - after 4 cups of coffee - with stuffed bag, filled with tripod, new polaroid camera (land 250) and the yashica, prepared for some self portraits at dawn. went home two hours later, with an empty camel light packet, hands full of expired chemicals (which btw smells like rotten fish) and two underexposed sunrise polaroids;

got my first adox golf-roll developed a week ago, going from a semi-automatic pentax to a fully manual rangefinder from '52 is more difficult than presumed- all pics are multiexposed and/or over/under-exposed.. shooting an expired ilford film now, hopefully it'll turn out better.
